DESCRIPTION
The machine is a Japanese Mikaki flatbed printer, that was converted to a large, flatbed CNC.
It is equipped with a new EdingCNC controller, a new 1.5kW spindle motor, dust extraction and new stepper motors with integrated drivers. The base frame and linear rails are Japanese.
The machine comes complete with a pc with EdingCNC and is converted to run single phase 220V power.
The machine has a large flatbed table, with a work surface of 2100mmx3300mm. The Z-axis is limited to 70mm. This makes it most suitable for routing large sheet materials in plywood, aluminium or plexiglass.
The bed has a height of 800mm. The machine stands permanently on wheels and can be rolled around.
The machine comes with a 500mm wide tool plate, allowing to mount multiple tools without losing work envelope.
It currently uses a spoiler board, but has a vacuum table. A vacuum pump can be added as an option upon request.
After the renovation, the machine was mostly used as an experimental 3D-printing platform and can also be sold in this configuration.
The machine can be viewed/demo’ed on appointment, and delivered to your location.
Included in the sale is installation on site and a 1 year warranty on the conversion parts.
